Tiffin Glass, 1940-1980: Figurals, Paperweights, Pressed Ware by Ruth Hemminger, Ed Goshe, Leslie Pina
Tiffin Glass, 1940-1980: Figurals, Paperweights, Pressed Ware by Ruth Hemminger, Ed Goshe, Leslie Pina
OUR NOTES:
Approximately 1/3 of the book is devoted to Tiffin's Duncan & Miller division. The Duncan & Miller Glass company of Washington, Pa. closed, and many of their pattern molds & equipment were purchased by the United States Glass Company in 1955. In 1956, US Glass established a Duncan & Miller division. Much of this glass was produced at the Tiffin factory.
"Tiffin Glass" is glassware made in the US Glass owned factory located in the town of Tiffin, Ohio.
Collectors of both Tiffin and Duncan & Miller will find this reference quite useful. The full complement of patterns from both glass brands are detailed in color photos.
